Bulk store credit, simple as CSV.
Shopify only lets you add store credit one customer at a time. That's fine for one refund and hopeless for 2,000 VIPs. Upload a spreadsheet to Stork and every row becomes real Shopify store credit, with its own amount, currency and expiry.
- Migrate balances from another store credit app
- Pre-load VIPs before a launch or sale
- Make good after an outage or late delivery
Bulk store credit import walkthrough
What it does.
- One row, one credit. Each row sets the customer's email, amount, currency and expiry date. If no customer exists with that email, Stork creates one.
- Email them or stay quiet. A
send_emailcolumn decides, row by row, whether Shopify tells the customer about their new credit. Handy for silent migrations. - Dates that can't go wrong. Expiry accepts
YYYY-MM-DDorDD/MM/YYYY. American-style dates are rejected on purpose, because 03/04 is a coin toss. - No accidental double credit. Only one import runs at a time per store, and an interrupted import resumes where it stopped without crediting anyone twice.
- A log for every row. See who was credited and why any row failed. Fix just the failed rows and import them again.
- Plan limits checked up front. 20 rows per file on Free, 1,000 on Grow and no limit on Unlimited. An oversized file is rejected before anything is credited.

Who it's for.
You're leaving another tool
Export balances from your old app, import them into Stork, and customers keep every cent. See the Rise.ai and Rivo comparison.
You pre-load VIPs
Drop credit into your best customers' accounts before a launch or Black Friday, instead of a code anyone can share.
Something went wrong
Courier lost a week of parcels? Credit everyone affected in one go, with a note in their inbox if you want.
Every row becomes a native Shopify store credit transaction in the customer's own account, in the currency you set. Keep your CSV, it's your record of what was issued.
"Really easy to set up and use! The integration with Shopify was smooth, and everything worked as expected from the start."
CSV import questions.
How do I import store credit into Shopify from a CSV?
Install Stork Credit, open Store credit import and click New import. Download the sample template, fill in one row per customer, drop the file in and click Start import. Test with a few rows first and check the balances in Shopify admin.
What columns does a store credit CSV need?
email,amount,currencyandexpires_on(leave the cell empty for credit that never expires).send_emailis optional: true to email the customer, false or empty to stay silent. Keep commas out of the values. Can I migrate store credit balances from another app?
Yes, that's what the import is built for. Export each customer's balance from your old app, put it in Stork's CSV format with the right currency and expiry, and import it. Set
send_emailto false if you'd rather not email everyone about a balance they already had. What happens if I upload the same CSV twice?
Every customer in it is credited twice. Imports don't de-duplicate, so if a run looks stuck, check the imports list before uploading again. Only one import can run at a time, which stops the most common double-up.
How many rows can I import at once?
20 rows per file on Free, 1,000 on Grow ($20/month) and no row limit on Unlimited ($60/month). Each plan also has a monthly number of imports, shown on the upload page with the date it resets.
2,000 customers. One upload.
Free to install. Native to Shopify. No points, no codes, no dev work.
